Enhancements
- Added new menu item Drop Pin at Current Location to the contextual dropdown menu.
- Use aqua buttons in the map info popups.
- Enhanced threading support. Saving changes should no longer keep other applications/windows from displaying in front of the Maperture window. Saving performance should also be increased on systems with more than 2 processor cores.
- Added more visual feedback (status indicators) when performing certain long operations.
- Added setting in Preferences panel for specifying the default map location (the starting map position when none of the images being edited already have their location set).
- Added contextual menu item for displaying the image info (using the same info popup displayed when clicking on the marker displayed on the map).
- Modified behavior of Info popup so that it stays open if possible when changing image selection (assuming the newly selected image has associated location information).
- Significantly reduced memory usage over multiple uses of the plugin (in the same Aperture session).
- Modified the behavior of the scrolling image view contextual menu so that right clicking to display the menu doesn't deselect other images. Corresponding changes were also made to the enabling/disabling behavior of the menu items so that it is appropriate to the selected images as a group.
- Updated behavior of Revert/Remove links in the Info popup to match the behavior of the contextual menu (mostly to allow Remove to still be enabled for images with new location information).
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Safari 4 Beta issues displaying and initializing the map interface.
- Fixed a problem with Remove Location action causing the incorrect badge icon to display (if the image did not previously have location information, we were displaying the location removed badge - the globe with a minus sign - rather than the no location badge - no badge at all).
- Fix display of latitude/longitude in Info popup so that it uses the correct (sans serif) font.
- Fix issue where Info window/popup was remaining open when marker is dragged.
- Fix issue where the progress panel wasn't being displayed properly if images are still preparing after closing the Introduction window.
- Fix issue with scrollview contents being cut off when splitview is resized.
- Fix scroller left/right buttons so that they work correctly (scrolling left/right by a single image) - clicking in the empty scroller space should also now correctly scroll by a full page width.
- Fixed issue where Remove Location From All Images was enabled even though there was no GPS metadata to remove.
- Case #3261: Close map Info window when a marker is removed.
- Case #3257: Fix Revert context menu item so that it properly displays reverted changes (adds/removes markers as appropriate).
- Case #3259: Enable/disable Remove/Revert context menu items properly (depending on whether the image has a location set or the location has changed).
- Case #5571: Improved reliability of zoom in/out functions.
- Case #4281: Right-clicking an image thumbnail now selects the image and displays the edit menu.
- Case #6093: Under various circumstances when clicking a pin on the map, it's thumbnail is missing.
- Case #6095: Crash after clicking save, clicking a pin, and then clicking cancel.
